MEDICAL PRACTICE SECTION

The Medical Practice Section (MPS) is sponsored by the Physician Engagement Committee (PEC) and committed to improving education and member involvement, with a particular emphasis on increasing physician awareness, visibility and networking in clinical nutrition. The section sponsors a symposium every year at the ASPEN annual meeting and works year-round to provide physicians and other medical professionals opportunities to engage in nutrition mentorship, research, and clinical practice. The MPS is led by a chair and chair elect, who are active members within the PEC. Membership is open to all disciplines, and cross-collaboration among providers is encouraged.

To learn more about opportunities with MPS, including sponsorship of educational and curricular events and member outreach programming, please contact the current chair, Sara Bonnes.
